It took us roughly 1 hr to make these cookies, but it was our first time and we didn’t have everything ready. I’m certain we could cut that time in half next time.
If you’re curious, we got about 20 cookies out of our batch and calculate that each scrumptious gluten free chocolate chip cookie has approximately 200 calories. Definitely a satisfying healthy snack.
- 1/2 cup packed pitted Medjool dates
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of ground flax seeds
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1 cup quinoa flakes
- 1/2 cup almond meal flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1/4-1/2 cups of mini chocolate chips – gluten, dairy and soy free
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Follow the instructions in the video and they should come out awesome.
