This is my review on the FRS Healthy Energy drink.

Most of the drinks out there claim that they are healthy.  Are they really? I think not.  I guess it all depends on what you define as healthy.  Yes FRS has some good vitamins and minerals, but how about the sugar and artificial sweeteners.  One can has 37 grams of sugar per serving.  These cause havoc on the body and usually are associated with weight gain.  Yes, even the artificial sweeteners that with no calories are detrimental to your health.  These sweeteners do other things to the body that overtime can cause many unhealthy side effects.

Even though I’m not a promoter of these drinks, I did like the taste of the FRS.  I also liked the addition of Quercetin to their drink.  Quercetin is a type of plant-based chemical, or phytochemical, known as a flavonoid.  Quercetin appears to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It has been promoted as being effective against a wide variety of diseases, including cancer. While some early laboratory results appear promising, as of yet there is no reliable clinical evidence that quercetin can prevent or treat cancer in humans.
