I get this question every week, “What should I eat before a workout?”. That’s a simple but great question. I recommend eating a small meal 1 hour before a resistance training workout.

Here’s a few examples; protein shake w/fruit, meal bar(Think Thin or 1/2 Organic Food Bar) or a slice of Ezekiel Bread with Almond butter.
Eating before a workout is essential and should never be skipped. My clients who come in without any food(fuel) in their system have bad workouts every time. Its like driving to Vegas without stopping at the gas station. Sooner or later you will need that fuel.
Remember, take care of your health its your responsibility.
