The candida diet plan is not easy to follow if you have lived on sweets your whole life. Many of my clients complain about bloating, constipation, mood swings, low energy, and weight gain. I’m finding out that most of them have some sort of candida overgrowth.  It seems in today’s world, its more common than not to have one of these infections.

Here are some possible reasons you may have an overgrowth of candida albicans:

  • Poor Diet – High in Sugar
  • Parasites
  • Food Sensitivities
  • Heavy Metal Toxicity
  • Birth Control Pills
  • Anti Biotic Use

One must first find out if they have any underlying issues, like parasites, before they dive into the candida diet plan and protocol.  Before you can completely eliminate yeast, you must first treat the root cause.  I found this article to be very enlightening with how and what candida is and what it takes treat and eliminate it for good.  For some it could be a lifetime of following a specific candida diet plan and protocol.

I recommend working with a holistic practitioner to figure out the root cause of your symptoms.  Treating the root cause is the first step in the right direction.
