I hear this all the time, I want to lose inches on my stomach, should I do more sit-ups or crunches? The answer is no.  These exercises will not shrink your waistline, but burning more calories each day than your consuming, will.

Myth: Doing crunches will shrink your waistline.
Truth: Crunches will not shrink your waistline.  It would take a billion crunches to add up to enough calories to make a difference on your waistline.  Crunches can strengthen and hypertrophy the abdominal muscles, but will not help with fat loss.
